WSP is currently initiating a search for a Assistant Engineer - Transmission for our Newark, New Jersey office.

Duties and Responsibilities - Assist Engineers with the following:

+ Developing high voltage overhead and underground transmission line concept design, detail design and final design 2-dimensional and 3-dimentional computer aided design drawings. These drawings include, but are not limited to plan and profile, foundation, bonding and grounding and phasing drawings.

+ Design calculations

+ Major transmission line equipment specifications

+ Field surveys

+ Transmission line construction support services

# Job Requirements


**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ BS Degree Electrical or Civil Engineering

+ Graduated from ABET accredited engineering program

+ 3.0 GPA (minimum)

+ Familiar with Computer Aided Design Drafting (CADD) software

+ Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products

+ The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Power engineering courses

+ Proficiency with 3D CADD software
