The Workday Natural Workspaces team is looking for exceptional client engineers to help build out the next generation of Workday integrations with team productivity tools including Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Workplace by Facebook. Come join a growing team where you will have the opportunity to build the core technologies and tools that positively change how our customers work with enterprise applications - making them more engaging, collaborative and interactive. You will join our team in Boulder to help drive and build the full AWS stack for a new platform integration from Workday. You'd be involved in bringing the product from idea to delivery and beyond. Qualifications: Experience in software development, object oriented and functional programming principles. Prior experience in a technical role. Understanding of full-stack software engineering, with a preference for experience with front-end technologies (Javascript or TypeScript and CSS/HTML) and applications. Candidates ideally will be proficient in understanding and authoring TypeScript code, and have a proven track record of delivering production quality applications and services on platforms that leverage serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda. Candidates will have built delightful user experiences in their products, with attention to detail and well constructed micro-interactions that are efficient and intuitive. Experience working with designers and taking into account user feedback, while clearly communicating limitations and capabilities of underlying technology platforms. Responsibilities: Work closely with product management, creative and peers to prototype, implement and test an entire product. Continually test, refactor and maintain code. Perform code reviews. Contribute ideas for continually improving the team's productivity, job enjoyment and code quality. Propose and execute on mini-research/prototype projects that introduce an innovative solution to new or existing problems. Have fun engineering software!
