The candidate will provide analytical and professional support for the transactional insurance team in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group, which handles Representations & Warranties Insurance, Tax Liability Insurance and other M&A contingency insurance placements.

* Assisting with managing the group's deal pipeline * Maintaining our database which tracks transaction details, policy metrics and claims data, and generating reports as needed to support specific client engagements, as well as for marketing and internal reporting purposes * Support senior brokers on placements, including reviewing purchase agreements and other transaction materials, preparing submissions and term sheets, preparing proposals and reports for clients, assisting with managing the underwriting and placement process, reviewing transaction documents and policies and binders as needed to support the placement and client reporting process, and communicating with insurers and clients to support the brokerage team as needed * Support our efforts in tracking subjectivities and policy issuance, as well as the groups marketing initiatives
* High School diploma required; Undergraduate degree preferred * 1-3 years insurance industry experience, preferably within the legal sector; M&A experience preferred * Demonstrates knowledge of core insurance principles & provide explanation to clients * Ability to conduct research * Deep understanding of required placement workflows * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Problem solving abilities, including critical thinking and adaptability. * Project management skills, including attention to detail, organizational skills, prioritization and time management * Advanced Microsoft Office skills and fluency with other relevant online tools
