This position will be scheduled in a Hematology/Oncology practice at our Red Bank office, located at 4460 Red Bank Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227.
Job Overview:
* Will support the physician division to:
+ to leverage operational efficiency
+ ensure alignment of the individual physician practices.
* Will facilitate communication between Physician Medical Director and Physician Division executive leadership team to:
+ address physician concerns;
+ to develop, implement and manage operational initiatives
+ ensure alignment with PD and TCH strategy.
* Will provide leadership to Senior Regional Managers to:
+ direct day to day operations;
+ to identify improvement opportunities;
+ to monitor success
+ provide professional development
The Director of Operations may perform the following duties:
* Lead and direct Regional Managers to monitor physician practice performance against established metrics
* Coach, Mentor and provide guidance directly to regional managers. Evaluate performance and provide meaningful feedback. Identify development opportunities in alignment with TCH Talent Management methodology.
* Manage the distribution of practice assignments and responsibilities among Regional or Office managers to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness
* In collaboration with PD executive leadership team and Physician Director, develop practice specific operational metrics and dashboards designed to measure performance and identify trends and or issues of concern
* Periodically communicate physician practice/division performance with the PD Executive Leadership team and Physician Director.
* Responsible for the development of operational initiatives designed to maintain or improve performance and meet target metrics.
* Responsible for the implementation of integration strategies designed to facilitate vertical integration and to leverage internal capabilities to increase down-stream revenue.
* Provide critical communication link between physicians and PD Executive Leadership Team, TCH Service Line Leaders and the TCH Executive Team to recommend and operationalize strategic and/or improvement initiatives
* Ensure physician practice compliance with all operational, HR and regulatory policies, procedures and requirements.
* Collaborate with PD and TCH Managers and Directors to provide leadership on the Operations of new physician practice transitions. Continually assess acquisition activities to ensure newly acquired entities have necessary resources and support services required for maximum operational efficiencies.
Education: Master's degree required. Prefer 15 years of progressive experience with a focus large physician group management.
Experience: At least 10 years of progressive management experience in a healthcare environment, preferably with at least half of the experience with significant physician interaction.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
* Knowledge of federal and state regulations impacting healthcare delivery including but not limited to; Stark, OIG, Medicare, and IRS regulations.
* Strong organizational skills leading a combination of direct and dotted line reporting relationships. Exhibits strong, collaborative leadership qualities.
* Outstanding internal and external communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect with people.
* Ability to prioritize and deliver on key initiatives.
* Demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of performance within time and budget constraints.
* High levels of initiative, drive and poise coupled with qualities of maturity, professionalism, flexibility, and patience.
* Unquestionable integrity and business ethics.
