What You Will Do
The Senior Tech Rep position is responsible for educating TNF retailers and consumers across the United States and managing Regional Tech Reps. Their scope of coverage includes store clinics, events, dealer outings, gear demos, and more.
How You Will Make A Difference
Be point of contact for Tech Reps in your region on seasonal projects, clinics and events. Touchbase with each Tech Rep once a week.
Travel seasonally with Tech Reps in your region and provide coaching and feedback on clinic presentations, scheduling, planning and events.
Support the Tech Rep Manager on prioritizing regional initiatives.
Support the Tech Rep Manager on feedback and coaching with regional Tech Reps.
Responsible for executing regionalized seasonal outdoor and in-store clinics, for both D2C and Wholesale which includes outdoor specialty, sporting goods, department stores, hunt/fish, run specialty and lifestyle.
Work closely with The North Face Sales Reps and Key Account Managers on seasonal account priorities, key initiatives and dealer events within their territory.
Manage and maintain a territory of unique dealers across various channels of distribution and provide service accordingly. Maintain a master list of all doors and their classification (A, B, or C door) within their territory.
Create specialized interactive training presentations on an experiential level for key doors.
Service The North Face Full Price and Outlet stores on seasonal clinics or visits. Provide additional support during New Store Opening or Remodeling.
Work closely with your territory AMR (Account Marketing Rep) to plan and execute regional events and partnerships.
Execute national branded events in your territory.
Provide RD&D with feedback from retail floor staff, regarding current products and technologies.
Effectively use the Account Visit Summary to provide feedback for every clinic, visit and event in your territory, to show ROI.
Responsible for working with the Tech Rep Manager and the Content Training Manager to provide content feedback and best practices on using the seasonal training material kits.
What You Bring
3+ years of minimum experience in Sales or related in Outdoor industry. Previous rep experience preferred.
Educational/Position Requirements: BA/BS degree in Marketing or Business or related field.
Excellent organizational skills (planning and scheduling) and attention to detail.
Working knowledge of the outdoor industry.
Excellent presentation skills and public speaking.
Excellent driving record mandatory.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts, general math skills, maintain a budget.
Basic computer skills and Microsoft programs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to live 40 lbs.
Ability to travel 75% of time.
