Sr. FP&A Analyst, Digital DTC: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family
At VF, the corporate FP&A team serves as the critical support partner for the executive leadership team.The team is responsible for the development and/or analysis of all strategic, financial, and operational aspects of the company s brands and businesses that span the globe. The Senior Analyst, Digital & DTC FP&A will serve as a key member of the corporate financial planning and analysis team at the global headquarters in Denver, Colorado with high visibility to senior leadership.The primary responsibilities are to support the Manager, Digital & DTC FP&A and all members of the Corporate FP&A team in the development and analysis of the annual budget, strategic plan, and monthly forecasts, and provide reporting and analysis of monthly operating results for global VF.To be successful, this individual will utilize both relationship building and strong analytical skill-sets to maintain current reporting and analytics, as well as develop new metrics as needed to support both internal and external partners.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Assist with preparation of accurate and timely month-end analysis reports and assumption reviews for assigned operating units, explaining key drivers in performance
Prepare monthly journal entries for Digital & DTC related cost centers in SAP and manage the corresponding forecast utilizing information gathered from the operating team.
Participate in monthly financial reviews and annual Assumption reviews with each of VF s operating units and evaluate performance.
Support the monthly forecasting process driving continuous improvement to reduce variances through meetings with operational business partners to understand drivers of spend.
Manage weekly and monthly reporting of key metrics across global Brands and areas of spend. Train global teams as changes are implemented in key metrics or as new team members join through the finance organization.
Develop and utilize effective performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and improve strategic decision making.
Assist in preparation of presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
Provide financial and support analytics to executive leadership to support key business decisions
Support the Corporate FP&A team with key strategic initiatives and ad hoc requests through data gathering, analytics and putting together a business case for review by Senior Management.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
Assist in the creation of more robust and automated reporting tools and processes utilizing current systems and resources to streamline analytics and reporting
Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 3+ years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
BA/BS in Business, Finance, or other related discipline, and a minimum of 3 years of related professional experience.
Fortune 500 publicly traded company experience in a global, matrix organization strongly preferred.
