What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of the Manager of Planning Processes & Reporting are to provide leadership to Analysts in planning best practices, and optimization of the system tools and reporting. Works and communicates with Planning Managers, Forecasting, Sourcing, and global teams to audit and confirm data and develop and publish reporting to aid in decision-making. Provides data to Director of Business Planning to support strategic business planning as required. In addition, this role will pilot the roll out of a new product introductions process to eventually take ownership of and manage as a primary responsibility.

How You Will Make A Difference

  • Coordinates with Planning Managers & Director to determine planning best practices and develops plans to train and implement with teams.
  • Mentors, develops and trains planners to drive better systems understanding and increased efficiencies.
  • Root cause service issues and drive improvements to address.
  • Recommends resolutions to resolve supply issues with Global Sourcing Team and Planning Managers to maximize on-time delivery.
  • Builds and demonstrates expertise in management of planning systems, reporting and planning interfaces.
  • Executes reporting for strategic inventory management projects.
  • Partner with development, sourcing, selling organizations, and operations to map, track, and execute end to end collaborations and provide visibility to timelines and deliverables throughout a product lifecycle (ideation through sunset).
  • Provides reporting for strategic planning as necessary.
  • What You Bring

  • 5+ years of relevant and progressive experience.
  • BA/BS Business Admin, Supply Chain or Engineering
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Perform work independently on a large volume of simultaneous projects.
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient PC skills (spreadsheets, word processing, databases).
