How You Will Make A Difference

  • This position is focused on creating product for key account exclusives, collaborations, and outlet.
  • Armed with a strong point of view they are charged with ownership of assigned account exclusives collections or collaboration capsules. Outlet design is simultaneously handled by this team.
  • Responsible for understanding of design heritage and brand DNA and infusing it to all tiers of product.
  • Quick strategical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to oversee design process from start-to-finish are a must for this team.
  • Ability to toggle between many projects at once.
  • Create and communicate design concept/idea through visual presentations.
  • Partners with developers to create innovative and technologically advanced products. Partners with material sourcing to develop innovative fabrications.
  • Work on an assortment of categories ranging from Outerwear, Sportswear, Performance, Accessories, Equipment, and Logowear.
  • Researches industry innovation and current garment trend to further their design knowledge + approach.
  • What You Bring

  • 4-8 years of related professional experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Design (Apparel), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Illustrator flat sketching skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe CS Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and use of PLM system
  • Apparel/Garment construction skills and understanding are an absolute must; helpful to understand manufacturing timeline and process.
  • Experience in creation of designs and detailed techpacks
  • Experience in research and analysis and design cycles
  • Strong knowledge of color theory and application usage.
  • Excellent communications skills, including the ability to present concepts to product teams and review boards accurately and with passion.
  • Strong knowledge of aesthetic form and the ability to design for different consumers and end uses.
  • Should have understanding in materials, fabric, trims, and print.
  • Basic knowledge of product costs and impact of design.
