What you'll be doing...

The Product Manager, Mobile Clients will be responsible for managing and leading the product development efforts of next generation video mobile clients for Verizon Fios. You will own the product roadmap and requirements and manage a cross-functional team to build successful products. This role has the opportunity to build relationships with key partners and evangelize our platform externally.

A deep understanding of the TV and streaming content industry, particularly related to customer behaviors, video consumption trends, and mobile client application development will be key to success in this role.

Core Responsibilities:

* Understand customer needs through market research, customer visits, analytics, brainstorming and competitive insights.
* Defining and advocating for platform and feature prioritization based on customer feedback, competitive analysis, market trends, and intuition
* Work with other client PMs (set-top box and website) as well as services PMs to align development across the portfolio addressing user and business requirements
* Work with other internal and external stakeholders to understand and align on features and priorities
* Creating detailed business and product requirements, maintaining a backlog, prioritize features and working closely with design and development partners to bring the products to life
* Define and maintain product roadmap for mobile clients
* Lead technical conversations with technical teams while defining development roadmaps.
* Work with the larger cross-functional team to define the team's product strategy and detailed roadmap.
* Work hands-on with development, QA, designers, business, marketing and operations teams to successfully design, build, and deploy product features.
* Analyze, manage, iterate and track the continued success of features in production using user feedback and tracking metrics.
* Manage, coach, and mentor product development team.

You'll need to have:

* Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
* Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

* BS/MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
* An MBA
* Experience in an internet and/or social media Product Management leadership role.
* Experience managing scalable internet products.
* Experience managing product development efforts for Internet TV or Video products.
* Experience with Mobile and Web Services full cycle product development.
* Experience in Agile methodology.
