Serve as a Security Administrative Support Specialist - Full Performance to review and analyze information gathered during background investigations.


  • Analyze, summarize, and verify information gathered during background investigations
  • Use various databases conducts searches on information needed to determinate if an individual qualifies for a clearance
  • Review derogatory or conflicting information and seeks additional information to clarify questionable information and discrepancies
  • If necessary, interview subject in person, by phone, or through written correspondence
  • Provide final recommendation for security clearance eligibility
  • Update and maintain appropriate security records following government's requirements
  • Participate in review panels and meetings to address specific security cases with senior adjudicators and security officials
  • Assist in the development of new or changing adjudication-related policies and procedures
  • Participate in special projects as required


  • Desk computer.
  • U.S. Government leased, owned, and rented vehicles.
  • Valid, current U.S. Passport
  • Valid, current U.S. Driver's License


  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Work in an operationally-sensitive environment
  • Operate standard office equipment, such as a computer, copy machine and printer.
  • Function in an office environment in a stationary position approximately 50 percent of the time or more.
  • Work well in team environments including demonstrate the ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
  • Function not only in an office environment in a stationary position approximately 50 percent of the time or more, but may work in austere, remote or non-remote permissive and non-permissive environments.
  • May be required to successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview and an extensive background investigation.
  • May be required to undergo successful occupational testing to include an aptitude test, writing test, personality inventory, and interview.




Bachelors' degree or HS Diploma and five (5) plus years of task related experience in the Intelligence Community and professional training may be substituted for education.



Must have Valid U.S. Driver's and be able to obtain an International Driver's License

Must have a valid US Passport


Must have an current, adjudicated, and active TS-SCI w/Poly

Required Experience, knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High School Diploma or GED including 5 or more years of task related experience

  • Demonstrated high level of personal integrity and ability to discreetly handle sensitive, personal and classified case information

  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to comprehend complex and multi-source data into succinct and supportable final reports

  • Ability to operate various corporate and customer specific automated systems for case tracking and status reporting

  • Understanding of the federal rules and regulations that encompasses the clearance process

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple task assignments to meet deadlines

  • Ability to elicit information during an interview with minimal direction and work effectively with variety of individuals

  • Demonstrated ability to provide on-the-job training to new team members ad colleagues

  • Broad experience with personnel security policies and practices

  • Experience working in an environment with compartmented programs

  • Experience with Agency administrative support work

Desired Experience, knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bachelor's Degree in any discipline

Five or more years' of task related experience

Six to 10 years' experience working in the Intelligence Community

Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Critical Thinking -

Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment

Experience with Agency data entry and security processing and verification support


  • Lead, manage, and supervise a multi-functional team of analyst

  • Advise and assist Client with planning, programming, and executing operational requirements

  • Serve as team lead on single or multiple projects simultaneously or concurrently
