The primary responsibility of the leader of Product Operations is to support and enable the product development process to produce best in market product. This means ensuring communication between the innovation center, the brand and the regional sourcing offices in a manner that keeps the process aligned to the calendar. The leader of Product Ops plays a key role by partnering w/ Merchandising and Design Ops to make sure teams are aligned and deliver for key milestone meetings. The Product Ops lead will be responsible for managing the development calendar for all teams within the Development function.. In addition, this leader is responsible for collaborating with supply chain ops and regional sourcing teammates to track all seasonal efforts from production to delivery for samples and bulk.. Own socialization of and optimization of the product development calendar w/ teams Key support in sourcing allocation planning and meetings Communicator w/ Regional Teams of all updates related to product development process, calendar, org Develops new processes and calendars as needed to support the development process Extracts data as needed from PLM systems Manages meeting agendas and attendees for key development meetings Supports Development/Technical Development and Materials Publishes, and maintains all records and style files associated with the calendar and suppliers for seasonal product Supports Development and Materials teams in any documentation needed for legal team connected all patents and partnership contracts Stays current w/ industry trends and publishes to team Performs these and other duties as assigned SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS. 10+ years of related professional experience. Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Product commercialization/production, Operations, Vendor Relations Demonstrated ability to work with a team and must have a track record in executing tasks/projects. Capable of driving short term, long term, and complex projects. Collaborative partner with team oriented approach. Strong communication skills, written and verbal Understand how to motivate and develop diverse personalities/ talent. Embrace change and react with speed and agility. Flexible and creative problem solver. Personal professionalism and accountability. Have extensive experience managing and estimating personal time outlays for each project. Overall understanding of the outdoor market, development processes and the competition landscape and a participatory knowledge of the represented sports is helpful. Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments.
