This position manages the accountability, effectiveness, and tracking methods used to measure the impact of the Barksdale Reading Institute s programs and activities. The incumbent develops a tracking system to identify programmatic impacts, creates metrics used to measure programs and activities, designs and executes communication plans for BRI, and develops and implements training for staff. Examples of Work Performed Develops and maintains an Institute-wide data tracker system to quantify and report programmatic impacts. Identifies and creates metrics for activities within the department s program areas. Develops instruments needed to capture metrics. Creates a reporting system to communicate impact internally and externally Designs and implements training to BRI staff including developing measurable goals and objectives for each activity. Analyzes impact component of BRI team managers. Designs and executes communications plans for BRI. Establishes and cultivates relationships with state and national organizational partners. Provides guidance and direction to staff. Develops social media plan and maintains organizational website. Provides input into design of BRI professional development activities and assists in delivery of professional development as needed. Designs a professional development framework for school leaders specific to literacy instruction and interventions. Provides programmatic leadership for strategic planning processes and communications. Assists in the design and execution of statewide literacy pilot projects with MDE and other state and regional organizations. Serves as liaison to MDE and other partner organizations in the absence of the Chief Executive Officer. Collaborates with Educator Effectiveness, School Readiness, and Curriculum Integrity Teams on organizational partnerships. Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required. Minimum Education/Experience Education: Master s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field. AND Experience: Five (5) years of experience related to the above described duties.
