The Center s staff have been administering a range of educational programs that promote quality education for all students for 40 years. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be Responsible for the day to day management of program activities, including revising course syllabi to ensure K-12 and ESL standards and assessments are present in all courses. Work closely with students to schedule classes and to embed field-based experiences into Method s courses, ensuring a direct and immediate transfer of theory learned in courses to real classroom settings. Meet with the P.I. and CU Boulder faculty to inform them of progress made in meeting project objectives. Work closely with Graduate Research Assistants on all aspects of project to ensure integrity. Work with the Project Evaluator on all aspects of the project evaluation. Meet with LEA administrators and Boards of Education to keep them informed on the progress made by the project in preparing their teachers to teach LEP students. Project coordination duties will include: Maintain scholar course completion database; secure and filing all course registrations; locate and order required project and course materials; complete necessary word processing and related administrative tasks; maintain the process for ongoing communication with scholars as requested by the PD or PI; conduct online library searches for project articles or other related materials Develop and deliver professional development on topics related to culturally and linguistically diverse education Seek external funding from both public and private sources Cohort coordinator. What You Should Know This position is grant-funded through 8/31/22. Should grant support of this position end, the position may end at the conclusion of the grant.
