We are a growing leader in the design, manufacture and support of advanced integrated RF subsystems and components for high performance Electronic Warfare, Radar and Communications systems and flight test and instrumentation systems and subsystems. Our products are used by US and international customers in manned aircraft, UAVs, aerial targets, space launch vehicles, missiles and guided weapons applications.

As the Senior Director & General Manager and member of our Senior Management Team, you will have the overall responsibility for managing both the revenue and cost elements of our company's income statement. You will be responsible for formulating overall strategy, effective planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, organizing, and decision making to attain desirable profit making results for an organization. This position will supervise our Lancaster location and the next level managers within the organizations functional areas. This position will collaborate with company executives to develop strategic plans for business growth based on short-term and long-term goals, communicate those goals to your team, and guide them to success.

We are seeking an individual that will be able to support the following responsibilities:

Active member of Executive Management team.

Support Executive Staff in program forecasting, monthly conversion of backlog to revenue and budget planning

Lead business development initiatives to continue to grow the business

Oversee day-to-day business operations for the cross functional team

Maintain high OTD and Quality standards

Provide leadership at all levels of the organization

Communicate and embody the company vision and values

Build up the company by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and mentoring new talent

Define and implement policies and performance standards

Evaluate employee performance and provide additional coaching and support as needed

Assess departmental and company performance and devise plans for improvement

Manage profit and loss statements and account for costs and revenues

Allocate budget resources for supplies, equipment, marketing, and personnel

Set and adhere at all times to the Environmental, Health and Safety Policies

Required Skills:

  • A Bachelors degree in related field
  • 5+ years plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of military or defense electronics
  • PMP Certification
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Secret security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens.

  • Masters and MBA preferred
  • Active Secret Security clearance

  • Leadership skills are pertinent to providing and seeking out continuing education opportunities and fostering a growth mindset
  • Delegation skills are crucial in identifying the best person (or people) for a particular task and act as a facilitator to motivate and direct the work

  • Negotiation and mediation skills are necessary for finding opportunities to resolve conflicts efficiently and favorably
  • Decision-making skills are key to weighing the costs and benefits of various options and determining the best course of action to achieve company goals
  • Problem-solving skills are crucial to analyzing past and current performance and recommending objectives to improve productivity and profitability
  • Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements
  • Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures
  • Competent in use of Microsoft Office products
