Duties/Responsibilities: Provide general administrative support to facility including but not limited to the following: Professionally greet guests and customers; maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area Maintain visitor registration records, provide guest and employee badging, answer main phone line and direct calls to the appropriate recipients Maintain and stock supply rooms and kitchen on a daily basis (may require the use of a step stool) Regularly order office and kitchen supplies for the Herndon office Maintain office keys inventory and record of distribution Maintain copiers/printers ink and paper supply as needed Ship, receive and distribute the mail and packages for the office on a daily basis Update and distribute the company's phone directory on a regular basis Support company meetings and events, including scheduling meeting room or event, order catering, and setup/cleanup Learn and develop expertise with company's learning management system in order to serve as the primary administrator Correspond with building management as needed to report and schedule facility maintenance Assist in charitable donation requests and planning Provide back-up administrative support to the Executive team, including managing travel arrangements and creating accurate expense reports as needed Assist marketing operations with marketing inventory control and organization Provide administrative support to other departments as needed Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook) Professional attitude with the ability to interact with executives and customers at all levels Excellent verbal and written communications skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks Ability to reliably gather, assemble, disseminate and maintain large volumes of confidential and sensitive information using spreadsheets, databases and reports Ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information Physical requirements include lifting up to 20 pounds and overhead reaching Education/Experience: Associate's degree in business or related field preferred Requires a minimum of 2 years relevant experience Experience using or administering a learning management system preferred Current Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance preferred Equal Opportunity Employer: Disability/Veteran * The salary listed in the header is an estimate based on salary data for similar jobs in the same area.
