TNS Has an excellent opportunity for an experience pre-sales engineer working within the FINTECH ecosystem. Do you have a strong technical background in the FINTECH industry and are equally strong in front of customer both potential and existing? Can you architect cutting edge, industry leading solutions and translate the features into value propositions? If so, this role may be perfect for you! This position is focused on both pre-sales engineering activities on financial trading networks and managed services. Support the sales and sales engineering teams by providing technical support and producing documentation to accurately capture proposed customer services Fully qualify solution designs against customers requirements Prepare design and order paperwork for both external (customers) and internal use (for ordering and billing etc)
Responsibilities: Provide support to the sales teams with the production of technical proposals and development and delivery of product demonstrations for new business customers Support the Sales Team on visits to prospective and existing customers at client meetings, field events, conferences and seminars. Support Customers at technical level with the completion of documentation to progress the sales order process. Working with matrixed global teams, support Business Development with bids, documented customer requirements and end to end technical designs. Work with customers and staff to test new network solution designs. Develop and maintain skills in financial services especially those provided by TNS
Qualifications 10+years experience as a pre-sales engineer. Bachelors degree in a technology based discipline, Masters Preferred 10+ years experience in financial trading networks. Strong working understanding of financial trading industry and financial markets Demonstrated ability to gather and document functional requirements. Very good working knowledge of network architectures, network and routing protocols, encryption, and network address translation. Experienced user of Microsoft and other applications especially Visio, Excel and Word. Candidates will be expected to have or develop good presentation skills and business vernacular when working with customers to clarify high-level business requirements (qualification) to allow technical analysis, scoping and sizing to support detailed proposal requirements and determining suitable solutions PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Self-motivated with a proven skills and knowledge in network design and operation. Demonstrated strong command of the English language listening, spoken and written. Be capable of learning new skills and knowledge quickly. Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base across countries/languages/cultures Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports Organized and analytical, able to identify and eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Ability to adapt to new ways of thinking Highly developed consultative engagement style with polished customer engagement skills. Proven high personal productivity Actively involved in professional development and skills growth independent of the workplace
