The Wing is seeking energetic, meticulous and focused Prep/Line Cooks to prepare food for our full service cafe for either full or part time! If you love food, love to cook and want to join a mission driven organization, this opportunity could be for you!
Our part time team members may work up to 28 hours per week, while our full time team members are scheduled for 40. All hourly employees are eligible for benefits as well as access to our 401K program! Please be sure to specify if you are interested in part time or full time hours
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
    • Prepare food for restaurant menu in accordance with recipes and standards set forth by Culinary Director
    • Prepare food orders for members with confidence, consistency, quality, and efficiency
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
    • Comply with all food safety and hygiene standards
    • Receive, date and organize incoming orders
    • Assist with managing an efficient flow of service during busy times; communicating with the front counter when items are low or 86 ed
    • Support prep cook and dishwashing responsibilities as needed

Requirements
    • Must be able to provide at least 15 hours of availability per week including one weekend day
    • Certified Food Handlers license or equivalent local food handling certification (such as ServSafe) required
    • Flexible hours, willingness to work weekends and some holidays
    • Must have at least 2 years experience in a high-volume kitchen or equivalent - bartending experience would also fulfill this requirement
    • Ability to lift up to 50lbs at a time and stand for long periods
