This scientific research position will be focused on designing and developing a randomness beacon that will publicly broadcast time-stamped and cryptographically hashed random numbers at regular interval as part of a a global network. You will work with a team that spans mathematics and physics to design and implement a prototype beacon. Initially, the beacon will broadcast cryptographically secure pseudorandom numbers, but will eventually incorporate regular quantum random input and post-quantum cryptographically secure protocols.
