Position Summary:
This is a senior management position that is responsible for operational activities in all facilities. This manager will coordinate and execute operational measures to the individual departments within the Processing Department. They are to set goals for the Processing Department and to identify and remove obstacles to optimize operational performance.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
* Responsible for the team that solves problems through guidance from Ops Control Center Department while effecting departmental behavior changes at the warehouse floor level.
* Responsible for driving departmental behavior changes on daily basis through KPI's.
* Reviews the daily/weekly/monthly data for monthly facilities to ensure compliance with established metrics.
* Develop or improve processes that will increase operation efficiencies.
* Approve/Deny PO Requests from facilities.
* Understand operational costs and expenses and provide periodic updates to be able to input into the system.
* Assist facilities with working inside their budget constraints that have been provided from Accounting.
* Assist Facilities with P&L reporting and ensuring highest potential profits from a processing standpoint and overall expenditures
* Responsible for monthly collecting and reporting of Facility Allocation and Consumable Inventories to Accounting Department.
* Lead the opening of opening new TRG facilities with the guidance of Planning & Optimization/Engineering.
* Manage labor needs regarding fulltime and temp labor for each building to ensure proper teammate levels vs production needs.
* Must be able to multitask across various areas of production needs.
* Travel to facilities on a periodic basis for review and training to company standards.
* Create trip reports to give leadership overview of facility status.
* Assist with the of opening new TRG facilities
* This is a management role with a large team.
* >50% travel required.
