Position:?Conference Producer Location:?New York City The Argyle Group is a provider of B2B media solutions centered around a suite of editorial and event media. Headquartered in New York City, the group operates under several recognizable?media, virtual and live event brands. We're looking for a commercial conference producer with a proven background in full-cycle?conference production including conception, community research, agenda development, speaker recruitment and execution. The successful candidate will be a project management rockstar capable of understanding the needs of our clients and audiences. ? The Responsibilities: Agenda Development Design exciting session formats to meet the needs of the desired audience by applying?commercial market knowledge to content developmentCreate compelling copy and contentEnsure the production timeline is on schedule throughout the process?Proactively collaborate on site with the Event Management team to ensure the conference logistics are in place and run smoothlyLiaise with and act as on-site contact for all speakers, as well as the conference chair, while tracking the successful flow of the event day agenda Speaker Engagement Assemble a?speaker list from hot companies (new & innovative up to blue chip) and industry-leading executive employeesLiaise with speakers to develop and fine-tune presentations aiming to generate a quality, engaging and memorable content session for the audienceBuild and nurture relationships with target speakers and companies for future opportunities? Strategic Thought Leadership Maintain knowledge with trends and current topics relevant to the target marketDrive engagement with personal networking; assemble and leverage a network of business?contacts in the target industry to further identify current topical trends and event speakers ? The Qualifications (Required): 2+ years of experience in conference productionBachelor's degree in communications, business, writing, marketing or related fieldProven ability to research and write in a way that consistently produces engaging content tailored to your audienceExcellent track record of meeting deadlinesAnalytical, data-focused approach to researching the target audienceExceptional communication and business etiquette skills by email, phone and in personDrive to achieve at all costs, with a deadline-driven/high ownership mentalityProven track record of strong time management and organizational skillsHigh appetite for changeAbility to manage multiple priorities on a lean teamDesire to travel up to 10-15% to hotspots such as San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Dallas and more The Qualifications (Preferred, Not Required): 4+ years of experience in conference productionExperience with webinars/virtual eventsExperience specifically with IT, security, marketing, HR and/or finance conferencesExperience with long-cycle (12 month) summits and festivals ?
