Department Overview

TD Securities provides a wide range of capital market products and services to corporate, government and institutional clients. At TD Securities, the teams in Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Trading Business Management provide critical infrastructure services supporting the trading, investment and corporate banking functions of TD Securities.

Job Description

POSITION: Infrastructure Summer Analyst Program

Summer Analysts join a ten-week comprehensive program, where you are given the opportunity to learn critical
business skills while gaining fundamental experience in a role within Compliance, Finance, Operations, Trading Business Management.

The Summer Analyst Program also includes various Learning Series, networking and social events, and a formal review process. You will join a team-based, collegial environment where people take the time to properly train and mentor you.

Participating in compliance risk assessments and analysis of the compliance environment and controls for a line of business

Conducting research, and assisting with, coordinating and responding to various regulatory inquiries and examinations

Help in the production of the firm's financial statements

Partner with regulatory reporting and stress testing teams to understand how different metrics are reported to the firms external regulatory bodies (Fed Reserve, OCC, etc)

Collaborate with front office and other parts of the firm to drive business decisions

Lean about different products across trading and banking

Partner with business units and clients to facilitate exception management of trade capture, confirmation and settlement related activities

Partner with Technology to design, manage and implement business process changes to streamline processes, improve productivity and optimize operational efficiency

Trading Business Management
Proactively support TD Securities' sales and trading businesses to achieve sustainable strategies, operating practices and governance aligned with regulatory requirements and Bank policies and appetite.

Job Requirements

Applicants must be entering their junior year by September 2019

All majors (disciplines) are encouraged to apply; Business related majors preferred
