Job Description

The Customer Solutions Associate provides Legendary Customer Service while offering financial advice and selling TD
Bank products and services to new and existing Customers. Looks for every opportunity to deepen Customer
relationships by asking probing questions and offering appropriate additional products and services. Engages Customers
in using ATM, mobile and other self?service options to promote TD's convenience. Responsible to have knowledge of the
wide variety of products and services, including loan and mortgage products. Responsible for handling account
management and Customer inquiries, and referring Customers to off?site specialists to meet Customer needs that are
not offered on site. This role will contribute to the growth of the business by developing and deepening the new and
existing Customer relationships and will be responsible for meeting and exceeding specific, individual and team based
business goals. Will be responsible for fast paced on your feet selling to a transient customer base in an extremely busy
market. This is a unique to market store, which will be the first of its kind in the New York City market.
Employee must maintain an active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry)

Job Requirements

  • Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.


  • Takes residential mortgage loan applications AND offers or negotiates terms of residential mortgage loans for compensation or
    gain.
    ? Employee must maintain an active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry).
    ? Greets and interacts with the Customer in professional manner, providing exceptional Customer service by meeting all the
    Customer inquiries, assisting the Customer and/or directing the Customer to the appropriate employee or Business Partner.
    ? Creates an interactive sales environment that involves direct Customer interface at all facets of the process, using technology to
    aid in the process and moving to meet the needs of the Customer in a proactive manner.
    ? Educates and engages Customers in using TD's self?service options including but not limited to ATM, tablet, mobile and online
    services.
    ? Proactively demonstrate leadership in the help & advice area and in self?serve areas of the Store with the goal to deliver an
    enhanced Customer experience and create a positive First Impression' by greeting and engaging Customers in a range of
    sales, service and informational conversations.
    ? Generates and pursues sales leads, and implement specific sales initiatives and campaigns as needed in the Store. Cross?sell
    products to provide multi?services for Customers and make referrals and appointments to partners.
    ? Ensures customer problems are handled appropriately, escalating issues when necessary.
    ? Contributes to the achievement of Store business objectives by meeting or exceeding individual sales & referral goals.
    ? Assists in creating a positive work environment for themselves and for other employees, by being actively involved in the
    coaching and development process.
    ? Meets professional/personal development objectives by utilizing learning maps and external courses as required.
    ? Engages in and complete all internal training requirements for your role.
    ? Ensures the integrity of the operation through Store Self Audit and adherence to Store Operational Standards.
    ? Community involvement in local area to execute on TD Bank's Community Involvement model
