Our client is seeking a Citrix Support Specialist. This role will be on the virtual application solutions team responsible for deploying and upgrading virtual applications utilizing Microsoft App-V, Citrix App-Layering as well as RES Workspace Manager across the production XenApp and XenDesktop environments.
Candidate will proactively manage continuous process improvement based on customer feedback, new or emerging technologies, and process standards. Must possess strong customer service skills and be able to communicate highly technical concepts to individuals with varying levels of technical expertise. Must follow the change management and problem management processes.
Bachelor degree in computer science or a related discipline strongly preferred
At least 5 years of experience supporting and maintaining a large Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop environment
Working knowledge of basic concepts of Active Directory and Networking
At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting virtual application/OS issues required
Experience with RES Workspace Manager or equivalent profile management solution required Experience documenting technical processes Knowledge of Microsoft AppV 4.6/5.0 preferred
Knowledge of PowerShell preferred CCA-V certification strongly preferred
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
