Assists the President as needed with calendar scheduling, travel arrangements, monitoring of? high priority email responses, updates of interdepartmental developments, determining? priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, preparation of documents, agreements,? correspondence, presentations, filing, organizing and other administrative duties as requested? and as needed.
Represents the President by welcoming visitors, answering phones, reviewing correspondence, arranging company? lunches and dinners and other corporate functions; answering questions and meeting requests as? directed to and by the President.
Provides general support to visitors.
Serves as liaison between? staff and the President.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional? publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Additional Support (Administrative & Sales/Marketing)
Primary to receiving the mail, distribution to personnel, ensures outbound mail is timely? delivered
Maintains and ensures proper supplies are on-hand (kitchen, copy room, toners, postage? machine, copier and general office needs)
Proofread for accuracy final Quotes prepared by others
Maintain Board Sales spreadsheet and coordinates same with Sales personnel;
Back-up to maintaining prospect and policy files
Back-up to Quantitative Underwriter when needed
Back-up to preparation of Binders when signed documents are received
Back-up to preparation of Policy Endorsements when needed
Coordinate meetings, needs and leads with remotely located Sales Representatives
Minimum 3-5 years of administrative support experience
Solid knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Professional and courteous customer service demeanor
Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset
Must be able to take initiative, self-direct and be resourceful
Bachelor?s Degree ? Preferred ? not required but helpful
Ability to prioritize and multi-task?
