Primary Role

The BioLife Marketing team is looking for a Manager, Pricing Strategy who is responsible for donor fee pricing to optimize volume growth and margin improvement. They will support the development of the overall BioLife pricing strategy and lead the implementation and execution across the US center network.

Responsibilities

  • Manage development of the US pricing plans to meet volume and margin goals
  • Develop specific pricing strategies to engage donors throughout their lifecycle, including acquisition, conversion, retention and win back.
  • Proactively identify pricing opportunities based on competitive and market conditions
  • Create new and innovative pricing initiatives to drive growth and improve margins
  • Use advanced models to forecast impacts on volume & yield based on pricing programs
  • Leverage donor segmentation to implement targeted promotions to increase conversion and engagement
  • Continuous evaluation of pricing performance and execute changes within the overall strategy to achieve business KPIs
  • Manage pricing software and tools to provide analytics, reporting and modeling.
  • Consult with internal partners to implement pricing best practices in other global markets
  • Partner cross functionally with Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Operations and other partners to successfully implement pricing initiatives

Education & Experience Requirements

Essential: Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related work experience in pricing, finance, marketing analytics, consulting or related role

Desired: MBA

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to navigate through complex issues, interpret and transform data into recommendations to senior leadership
  • Strong financial knowledge, including modeling and sensitivity analysis
  • Outstanding analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build pricing/financial models using MS Excel. Proficient in PowerPoint.
  • Experience with statistical tools (R, Python), visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik) and query writing (SQL)
  • Ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
