As a Residential Supervisor you need to know how to:
Perform all responsibilities in a manner that isreflective of the mission and philosophy of Mount St. Vincent Home.
Be sensitive to the cultural differences amongthe children, families and staff and respond appropriately and sensitively tothose differences.
Build partnerships outside of the department tobring together resources and information for effective implementation of changeand achievement of common objectives.
Monitor processes, progress and resultsregarding outcomes and provide feedback to staff in conjunction withResidential Leadership.
Provide bi-weekly supervision to ResidentialStaff, including support, coaching, training, and performance feedback andevaluations.
Notify Clinical Manager of vicarious traumaconcerns.
Monitor training requirements for residentialstaff to ensure staff attend all trainings and remain compliant.
Coordinate training needs with Director ofResidential, Clinical Supervisors, and Training Team.
Identify necessary trainings to improve MentalHealth Worker s treatment interventions in conjunction with the Director andClinical Managers.
Assist with daily operations includingmaintenance and supply requests, schedule maintenance, and overall cottageenvironment.
Consult with Residential Leadership regardingstaff or client issues as needed.
Respond and assist as needed in agency orchild s crisis.
Attend agency and committee meetings asnecessary.
Participate in the hiring process with theDirector of Residential, HR, Clinical Director, Director and Clinical Managers.
Complete annual evaluations and 90 Day reviews.
Partner with the residential supervisors tomanage the daily oversight of residential state licensing regulations.
Assist with the supervision of the on-call teamin conjunction with residential managers, including monthly meetings andmonthly individual supervision.
Provide staff with necessary procedures andprotocols in emergencies.
Monitor completion or conduct daily debriefingsacross cottages.
Oversee the USDA Tracking Sheets and enter thedata electronically.
Partner with other residential managers forBreak Week scheduling oversight and milieu coverage.
Daily monitor residential MAR s and monthlyupkeep.
Complete weekly log audits.
Work with Director and Clinical Managers toestablish mentor for new staff members and confirm completion of on-boardingprocess.
Maintain staff member engagement as apriority.Involve staff in decisions andfoster shared responsibility and career development.
Model, direct, and provide feedback to MentalHealth Workers in regards to proper milieu management on shift.
Review incidents in Evolv and complete reportsby staff members.
Complete ADP for all reporting staff.
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expectexcellence, which is why we require:
Bachelor s Degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Psychology,Social Work or Human Services from four year College or University, required
At least two (2) years of relevant experiencewith residential / milieu programming or serving children with psychologicaldisabilities and prior supervisory experience, preferred
Advanced utilization of a variety of software,including but not limited to Microsoft Suite (especially Word and Excel), required
Current Colorado Driver s License, required
Motor vehicle record and proof of automobileinsurance coverage to be updated annually, required
