Soliant health partners with an exceptional school district near Johns Island,SC who has a full-time, contract position available for a Speech Language Pathologist. SLP is required to develop and administer speech therapy programs and treatments for school age groups defined by clinical competency, which includes pediatric and adolescent populations.
Graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or CFY (ASHA clinical fellowship)
Previous experience working in a school environment is preferred
Requires good organizational and time management skills
Other certifications preferred but not required , such as Child language and language disorders, Fluency and fluency disorders, Swallowing and swallowing disorders, and Intraoperative monitoring.
Experience working with K-12 ages/students preferred but not required
Valid SC State Licensure/State Credentials
Passing Drug Screen Testing/Background Check
F.T- 37.5 hours/week
Start date: 2019-2020 school year
Caseload: Elementary school students
