The role of the Marketing and Events Specialist is a pivotal role in helping SiteMinder to achieve significant growth targets in the Americas region (N America Canada and Spanish LATAM) in conjunction with the global marketing team in Sydney. We are looking for a Spanish speaking marketer who can help us localize in the LATAM market. You will play a key role in the delivery of the Americas marketing plans to build the brand locally, drive pipeline generation and conversion to support MQL, SQL and revenue goals. The role is based in our Dallas office and reports into the Global Director of Marketing - Demand Generation (Sydney).

As a key member of the SiteMinder marketing team, you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating field marketing initiatives and lead generation activities for the region. You will compliment global campaigns and programs by creating and executing local email campaigns as required, manage and promote trade shows, seminar/prospect events and webinars, manage 3rd party advertising promotions, industry associations programs, partner marketing initiatives, monitor social media and inbound emails and organize internal sales launches for campaigns.

You will work hand in hand with the local sales team for their insights and feedback on marketing generated inbound leads.
You will also partner closely with head office marketing, channel specialists such as campaign marketing, paid media (SEM/Paid Social) and content and customer marketing to review global programs and provide timely feedback to messaging and localizing it for relevancy in the region.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
Plan, execute and promote trade events, prospect and or customer events, seminars and webinars
Manage and plan event logistics, contracts and liaise with event suppliers and presenters
Run events to budget, tracking costs and ensuring timely payment to vendors
Schedule events, webinar and campaign emails in the marketing automation system (Marketo)
Develop and execute local email campaigns and Direct Mail programs when required
Drive sales launches for major campaign launches including coordinating ‘sales blitz’ calls to prospects for follow up on Direct Mail campaigns, prospect events etc.
Develop strategies for growing the email database for the region

Manage promotional items for eventsCoordinate and adding of events and webinars details to the website, paid social channels and landing pages
Travel to events when required
Source and develop local customer case studies that address customer pain points
Coordinate referral programs with customers and partners by developing emails and landing pages
Manage promotional items for events
Drive sales launches for major campaign launches including coordinating ‘sales blitz’ calls to prospects for follow up on Direct Mail campaigns, prospect events etc.
Collaborate with global marketing teams regarding email marketing, SEO/SEM, paid social and content marketing campaigns and programs, reviewing campaign messaging and making recommendations for market relevancy
Analyze leads and campaign performance in Salesforce, GA and Tableau for the region, obtaining ongoing feedback from sales to optimize and inform marketing programs based on insights and trends
Create and manage process and project plans with status updates for key stakeholders such as the global marketing and the local sales team. Coordinating campaign calendars with the Global Campaign Manager

The skills and experience you will bring to the role include:
Bilingual in Spanish & English
Proven experience with campaign (particularly email) and event management
Strong communication skills with proven experience writing copy for multiple mediums such as email, event/webinar promotions, and digital advertising
A savvy marketer who can hit the ground running and make an impact on our targets in the region
Experience with Marketing Automation and CRM highly desirable
Experience with reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Salesforce and Tableau highly desirable
Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines while working with different time zones for sign off or decision making
A Bachelor's Degree in marketing or business required
Experience in B2B SaaS companies desirable
