The Editorial Assignments Coordinator is someone who loves to collaborate with photographers, picture editors, and event planners to drive excellence across our entertainment event coverage.

You are someone who is results driven and thrives in an innovative high-energy environment. This role thinks strategically and applies expert judgment on the scope of coverage and assignment of photographers and editors to drive value for our global market and clients.

What you'll do:

* Manage and maintain entertainment and fashion events calendar.
* Assign photographers and editors, assisting with coverage direction and prioritization for entertainment events.
* Help build a team of freelance photographers and editors, assisting with onboarding and training.
* Support event operational and logistics planning including resource allocation, file transmit, support for photographers and event coverage team.
* Process all freelance invoices and timecards.
* Maintain full awareness and interest in U.S. and global entertainment events, news, trends, fashion, and celebrities.
* Track post event placement.

What you'll bring:

* 2 years experience in a related industry: entertainment, visual arts
* Hands-On: You should love rolling up your sleeves and working alongside the team.
* Domain expertise and passionate enthusiasm for entertainment and celebrity media.
* Extremely organized and strong attention to detail.
* Strong bias for action; ability to manage multiple (and competing) priorities and deadlines while operating in a lean work environment.
* Engaging personality with exceptional leadership, communication, networking and persuasion skills.
* Available to work non-traditional schedules including evenings and weekend shift work.
* Software: Excel, G-Suite, and file sharing systems.
* Excellent communicator, decisive, deadline-driven, people-oriented person.
