The Marketing Coordinator will work with the VP of Library/Educational Marketing on the strategic planning and execution of seasonal solicitation materials to reviewers, award committee members and influencer mailing lists. Work with team managers on annual conference planning and represent Scholastic at national trade shows. Work with VP and oversee promotional materials ordering, tracking and database for conventions, events and special requests. Collaborate and coordinate execution of educational supplemental materials.
HOW YOU CAN FIT
* Bachelor's Degree. * 2 to 3 years of publishing, marketing and/or events experience. * Strong work ethic and a demonstrated commitment to complete quality work on time. * Direct experience working with authors and a deep appreciation of books. * Experience in children's books and specifically trade marketing a plus * Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as in a team * Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment * Highly organized; able to communicate effectively, efficiently, and meet deadlines. * Excellent communication, writing, & presentation skills
