Northbridge is a 154-bed skilled nursing center which takes an
interdisciplinary approach to comprehensive restorative and medical
care. Rehabilitation, post-surgical, short- and long-term care,
skilled nursing and complex medical management are all provided in our
warm, patient-centered environment. SALMON s award-winning Northbridge
campus also features Whitney Place Assisted Living and Memory Care;
SALMON Adult Day Health; and SALMON Center for Early Education. The
variety of services allows clients and residents to have their
changing care needs met on the same campus. SALMON Center for Early
Education offers staff members first priority and discounts on their
child care, along with convenience and peace of mind. The on-site
Center also allows intergenerational programming to take place,
enriching the experience of the youngsters and residents alike.
Description:
To assist in the planning, implementing, and maintaining a quality
activity program designed to meet the needs and interests of
individual and group participation.
Will abide by and strongly enforce all compliance requirements and
policies and perform responsibilities in legal and ethical manner
consistent with the organization s values, bylaws, policies,
procedures, codes of conduct, and other means of governance.
Requirements:
Prior experience in recreation at nursing homes highly desirable
Assists in implementation of varied activities and outings and
accompanies residents as needed.
Encourages participation in religious activities, games,
entertainment, and other group activities, games, entertainment, and
other group activities as the individual s interest dictates..
Helps to create and maintain a warm and positive atmosphere, and
show personal interest in each resident.
Must be fast learner and self starter.
Works cooperatively with other departments.
Attends activities and programs designed to enhance professional
growth.
Works hours as designated to assist with evening and weekend
programming.
Maintains a quality activity program in the absence of the Director
of Activities.
