About the Role:
Due to growth, Salmon Health seeks experienced cooks to help prepare
menu items that maintain the company s level of excellence and assist
the Chef in upholding departmental policies, procedures and standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Preparation of the menu and salads items for all meals and special
functions as assigned by the Chef
Assist the Chef in receiving and storing all products in the kitchen
Must be able to operate all kitchen equipment safely and
Responsible for the duties of the Chef in his/her absence.
Communicate with the Chef on any problems or concerns observed in
the department.
Other duties as assigned
Required skills and qualifications
Ability to read and speak English
Two years or more of experience in restaurant or institutional food
Able to organize, distribute, and follow through on work production.
Capable of replacing staffing in times of shortages
Must be able to relate to and work with the elderly
