Our Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) is a key member of our staff who will provide both clinical care to patients and direct oversight of day-to-day responsibilities of nursing team members. The CNL is the main contact for a variety of nursing functions in support of management and staff and serves as a resource for clinical expertise and mentoring / coaching of staff. The Clinical Nurse Leader will facilitate the delivery of quality patient care through critical thinking skills, open communication and collaboration with the interdisciplinary health team.
LOCATION: United Memorial Medical Center - Batavia, NY
DEPARTMENT: Hope Haven
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse; demonstrated leadership qualities and behaviors to provide clinical expertise and mentoring.
Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Registered Nurse license in New York State. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Certification in area of specialty by a National Accrediting Organization - preferred.
This key leader drives the staff to provide an exceptional experience for the patient and family through high-quality, patient-centered, clinical care. The CNL will assess and demonstrate clinical judgement to patient care; develop plan of patient care; ensures patients receive and understand their plan of care and implements and maintains treatment care and services in collaboration with interdisciplinary health team.
