Promote the worldwide sale of Ricoh production equipment and solutions through the planning, development and execution of activities that focus on user adoption of high-end, very complex Ricoh technology.


  • Is relied on as the expert for Ricoh's most complex equipment and solutions offerings
  • Has a vision for overall brand, unit or global sales goals and translates that understanding into support for the efforts of the field sales teams in their responsibilities to sell and install Ricoh production offerings, solutions, and services
  • Includes effectively providing customer briefings and demonstrations in the support and optimization of pre-sales activities
  • Includes efficiently delivering a range of end-to-end sales related services to the field sales force, including the sales related activities associated with pre-sales support, solution design and delivery, proposal preparation, terms and conditions selection, and the coordination between the various support functions
  • Will develop and interpret significant, wide-ranging business plans, measurements of actual results against expectations, and analysis of volumes and revenues for brand, industry, geography and global
  • Responsibilities may include business analysis and decision support and proficiently utilizing reporting systems including forecasting, budgeting/ resource planning, pricing and contracts, sales execution reporting, etc to make a significant impact on business results
  • Provides expert advice and counsel to management and other professionals within geographies and major brand units
  • Provides expert advice and leadership to all support organizations (e.g. pricing, legal, business practices, etc.) on all sales operations and related issues
  • Travel required

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • Experience working with production printers and printer languages
  • Expert on various printing solutions such as IPW, RPD, PDE and other CF solutions
  • Experience with CS solutions such as EFI software (Micropress, Compose, Impose, Digital StoreFront, Pace), RSA (QDirect, M.I.S. Print, WebCRD), Objectif Lune (PlanetPress, PrintShop Mail), Barr Systems and others
  • Experience with application testing and test methodologies
  • 4 year college degree in an IT related field or equivalent industry experience
  • Certification in or equivalent experience with Production Print technologies such as JDF, AFP, Postscript or others
