Position Profile

Seeking a Level 2 Help Desk Support to assist field technicians with maintenance and repair of Ricoh and Legacy Hardware Products. This may include continuous forms toner and inkjet printing systems, Pre-Post processing equipment, InfoPrint Workgroup, and InfoPrint industrial printers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support via phone or electronic means such as the Ricoh call handling systems, email or instant messaging.
  • Troubleshoot power issues, mechanical issues, and software related issues.
  • Maintain close working relationship with engineering team.
  • Escalate to engineering/Level 3 team following escalation procedures.
  • Communicate action plans between engineering and the field techs.

Required Skills:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 2 years of IT experience
  • Must have basic electronics knowledge and networking knowledge

Preferred skills:

  • Understanding of basic printer code, software, and firmware
  • Technical writing skills
  • Experience supporting continuous forms toner and inkjet printer systems
  • Analyst experience
