We are currently looking for a Director of Client Insights & Engagement in Glen Allen, VA. The Director of Client Insights & Engagement position provides the senior level interface, thought leadership, and primary contact between RetailData LLC and its strategic clients. This role is responsible for maintaining business continuity of existing business contracts identifying solutions to facilitate growth opportunities within this existing client base. This role is client-facing and requires interaction with various stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally, with the goal of overall customer success.. This position offers:. Accountable for growth within the company's existing client base, identifying solutions, including program enhancements, add-ons, new business, expansion while improving client and company return on investment.. Develop comprehensive engagement for designated key accounts that include new engagements, on-going customer support, and discovery of major new business needs and opportunities.. Responsible for the proliferation of RetailData products and services within their assigned accounts; Introduction and promotion of new products and services as they become available.. Capture, measure, and report on customer engagement satisfaction.. Through account level and market reconnaissance the function increases RetailData's visibility to market changes and competitive options.. Full accountability for contract renewals; Takes a leadership role and coordinates contract renewal activities across the organization, identifies client areas of emphasis/importance recommends options for services, pricing and term.. Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies and competitors and be able to apply such insights across client engagements.. Promotes increased accountability and solidifies the communication across the organization.. Focuses on strategies that impact and influence upper management & C-suite contacts; Increase RetailData's visibility within the existing client base.. Additional duties as assigned.. Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or other similar field required; Master's degree preferred; and. At least 8 years of relevant experience in positions with increasing responsibility, including direct supervisory experience; and. Retail industry experience and working knowledge of retail pricing strategies and /or category management.. An equivalent combination of education and business experience.. *This position is base salary plus commission..
