Overview QSC is looking for a temporary receptionist, whose main function is to receive and route calls and messages and to greet visitors in a warm, friendly and professional manner. This position will also provide administrative support to the Systems Meeting in our Boulder, CO office. You'll be working five hours a day, Monday through Friday. The right candidate must have flexibility to work full days. Responsibilities Project an image of friendly professionalism to all caller and visitors Route phone calls to proper extension/department Page, take messages, or forward to voicemail when asked to do so by callers When messages are taken, notify the recipient in a timely manner. Include complete information of caller and action to be taken. Welcome, screen, and route visitors in a courteous manner Ensure all on-premises visitors leaving the reception area are escorted by a QSC employee and have a visitor badge Sort and distribute incoming mail Keep reception area tidy at all times. Notify the appropriate person regarding repairs, replacements, and service as required Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 6 months experience as a receptionist answering a main switchboard Good computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook Email, and internet skills Good work ethic - must be punctual and good attendance is a must Need to exhibit proper phone etiquette and customer service skills Able to handle multiple tasks while answering phones Ability to be professional in a casual environment Well-developed oral and written communication skills Good interpersonal skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to make quick and logical decisions when faced with an unusual circumstance Detail orientedSDL2017
