PDS is looking for a Database Developer with solid SQL programming skills and a desire to learn all facets of data integration to work in a highly collaborative agile environment. Under direction of the Data Architect, the Database Developer will be responsible for designing and creating database objects, troubleshooting the existing production platform, and working with 3rd party data feeds and providers. This role requires solid technical, organizational, and communication skills and will interact directly with clients and vendors. In addition, this role requires independent productivity, yet still within the structure of the group. Responsibilities Maintain high communications with team members and directly with data suppliers where required Write and update stored procedures and SQL queries against a complex data structure Participate in peer review and unit testing Learnbuild knowledge of SSIS Learnbuild knowledge of Reporting Services Build healthcare industry knowledge Qualifications Bachelor s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related subjects in engineeringsciencesmath Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or later Experience in Microsoft SQL Server concepts and T-SQL programming 5 years of overall software industry experience 5 years of database development experience Knowledge of database modelling Very solid knowledge of SSMS, working knowledge of SSIS, knowledge of VisualStudio preferred. Healthcare industry experience preferred Good analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions Good interpersonal skills good relationship building skills works well in a high-collaboration environment Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing good group presentation skills Strong organizational skills attention to detail Ability to work productively and independently, yet within the team structure.
