Sr. Dir. Content Creation is responsible for the on-brand, on-strategy execution and oversight all of multi-channel creative by translating global marketing strategies into creative concepts and executions consistent with the brand's standards, aesthetic and voice, by business vertical.
This strong team leader will deliver world class multi-channel digital-first Fashion / Lifestyle content creative direction and execution oversight and deliver for campaigns and \"always on\" content libraries that influence target consumers and create cultural movements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
* Collaboratively develop and execute the creative vision and design aesthetic for campaigns across all channels under the leadership of the VP Content Creation and EVP Content Creation & Innovation * Drive the achievement of creative goals driven by strategy to meet brand, marketing and sales objectives, working closely with Marketing Leads, Art Directors and Content Strategists on your team * Help build out digital-first, mobile-first content libraries that can be adapted across all consumer touchpoints, from digital advertising content to in-store collateral/signage and traditional media * Deliver creative campaign and content solutions through the creation of pitches and by ushering end-to-end creative production (including collaborating on multi-channel creative concepts, casting directional, on-set art direction, layout design) through to release into market * Continuously develop knowledge regarding new design trends, innovation in the creative field, customer experiences and technology * Lead the training and development of your creative team, including delivering on guidance and clear direction, problem solving and people management * Accountable to the quality of all end products touched by your team, ushering and managing post production and deliveries * Act as a brand steward and ensure clear and comprehensive communication to business partners and team members when needed * Collaborate closely with cross-functional team leaders in the development and execution of creative and design projects, from marketing to digital and eComm teams, creative production and post-production teams * Attend and directly adapt consumer insights briefing sessions to your work, acting as a creative leader within your team and in working cross-departmentally as needed to clarify business needs and deliver creative solutions
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
10+ years of creative experience in fashion advertising
* Must have strong managerial competencies and experience, and a proven ability to inspire and nurture individual talents within a collaborative environment * Highly digitally-relevant creative background * Extensive experience working with Designers at creatively-driven global brands * Experience working in a corporate environment is a plus
Bachelor's degree in design or other business related field or equivalent experience
* Superior understanding of the history of Calvin Klein Advertising and the current Brand platform * Must be \"Digital First\" and have knowledge of digital teams, tools, consumer content channels * Must be a strategic thinker and creative problem solver, with an ability to create outstanding work across an expansive and diverse environment. * Extraordinary attention to detail and understanding of the Calvin Klein aesthetic * Excellent communication, in small and large team settings * Must have excellent presentation skills * Must be a good listener, and have the ability to influence others * Must have a strong desire to continually bring creative and cultural innovation to the process * Must have the ability to multi-task and delegate creative projects in a fast-paced and ambitious work environment * Strong work ethic, and relentless commitment to quality and efficiency * Ability to inspire and manage teams * Flexibility to adjust quickly to changes and deliver on tight deadlines * Proficient in latest design software * Proficient in motion content and digital content creation
