The Senior Manager, Digital Test & Learn will play a key role within the Tommy Hilfiger Americas Marketing & Communications organization by structuring and prioritizing a data-driven test & learn agenda for teams working with Mar-tech and Ad-tech toolsets. The Senior Manager must hold a high competence in project management skills.
He/she will prioritize a use-case backlog based on a clear sense of impact and feasibility, ensuring planning is approached through a value lens and the testing agenda is framed around business needs.
This person will have an exceptional ability to work across different teams to coalesce key business questions, define custom KPIs, communicate results concisely, and make actionable recommendations to Leadership.
* Build and rigorously track a clear work plan against a digital, data-driven marketing and advertising test & learn agenda * Provide key learnings to uncover top performing pilots which are candidates to scale into industrialized operations * Ability to work with functional specialists in CRM and Media to ensure on-time campaign launches, campaign pacing, and optimization * Partner with cross-functional business partners including Marketing, Advertising, Creative, Merchandising, Planning, Business Strategy and Store Operations teams to ensure the proper inputs and considerations when planning, prioritizing and sequencing test-and-learn pilots * Manage key dependencies and help accelerate timelines by integrating other contributors/stakeholders such as creatives, analysts, and agencies * Work closely with the CRM, Media and Analytics/Insights team to prioritize the back-log of use cases into a work plan for testing and learning with an eye on industrialization of use cases with the highest potential for business impact and growth * Maintain clear sense of impact and feasibility, and challenge internal teams to think through a value lens * Track which test pilots have worked, which pilots have been scaled, and any key impediments to scaling * Drive a sense of urgency around staying current with and ensuring goals are established and matched or exceed in relation to key campaign performance metrics such as On-target reach %, Viewability %, Cost-per-action (CPA) match, ROI * Ensure proper budget needs are identified and secured for appropriate test & learn agenda. Provide recommendations on learnings to leadership first within a context of opportunity cost and optimization of existing budgets, but also identify opportunities where additional investment is warranted * Responsible for setting test & learn schedule with leadership approval and tracking results towards an outcome of clear and actionable recommendations
* Bachelor's degree in business, science, or engineering; master's degree preferred * 7+ recent years in digital marketing/advertising; 2 years' experience in a media agency is preferred, with an understanding of digital advertising measurement methods, metrics, and technologies * Strong project-management competence and an ability to drive initiative through cultural norms to achieve goal * A thorough understanding of the latest trends and changes in digital and social media measurement * Experience with ad-tech and mar-tech platforms, tagging, and data management processes * Deep experience translating strategic business objectives into consumer-centric engagement tactics and proving those out * Significant experience communicating technical material to range of audiences, including marketers, leadership, technology partners, and agencies * Fully up-to-date on the strategic roles of interactive/digital media channels and also familiar with predicted evolutions of each * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to discuss and present complex information in an easy-to-understand manner with clear recommendations based on data * Comfortable in a rapid response mode where information or answers are sourced in a timely and thoughtful manner * Proven track record of collaboration and being able to work with flexible direction * Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities * The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking marketer, with a strong project-management skillset, who tracks and stays current on industry trends while driving new and feasible approaches that are grounded in the needs of the business. This person will have the ability to set and keep programs on schedule, understand and interpret data, draft reports/presentations, and make actionable recommendations * Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines is critical * Detail-oriented/innovative traits are necessary * Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and projects
