The role of Brand Specialist is to provide both merchandising and sales support to assigned doors within a territory while increasing the corporate visibility of PVH brands and product categories.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
* Implement CK visual merchandising standards and product programs at the retail level to ensure the sales floor is always customer ready in order to increase sales growth * Utilizing visual directives, ensure product is optimally placed, sized and merchandised. * Educate store personnel on products and seasonal programs - seminars * Share product-level insight with partners. Build relationships with key associates. * Align on floor strategies with the customer to optimize the profitability of programs. * Maximize retail presence by negotiating optimal real estate and square footage * Ensure stock replenishment and size integrity on the selling floor * Review and react to weekly sales data to ensure achievement of sales plans by door * Provide daily report including photos to management - SVR * Actively assist shoppers with CK/PVH Brands to gain market share
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of wholesale, retail or visual merchandising experience.
Education: Bachelor's Degree, however a combination of college education and related work experience may be used as a substitute
* Previous experience with merchandising and retail store flow. * Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook * Extremely strong customer service orientation * Enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable flexing with last minute changes * Effective interpersonal skills when working directly with senior-level partners * Ability to be creative when resolving business issues * Values working as part of a team. * Strong organizational skills and detail oriented. * Experience reading and reacting to retail sales reports. Working knowledge of retail math. * Strong initiative, ownership and ability to work independently.
