The Manager, Store Operations focuses on managing all aspects of daily operations, operationally-driven projects and process improvement initiatives for the stores. This Manager conducts in-store diagnostic work, measures workload, analyzes data, and makes efficiency and innovation recommendations. The role prioritizes projects, facilitates cross-functional teams, and assists with implementation and performance management of each new process or practice.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
* Manage daily store operations tasks. * Acts as Project Manager for all in-store operations projects. * Track / report project progress and assess risk. * Analyze and report baseline vs. improvement productivity results. * Create procedure content and direction (SOP). * Determine best practices and create process improvements in stores. Develop operational efficiencies.
Experience: 3 years in-store experience or equivalent required.
2 years of Project Management experience in a retail environment required
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* Project management experience in a retail environment, including facilitation of cross-functional teams and small / large implementations * Project management skills including planning, execution, and follow-up * Industrial Engineering / workload measurement techniques and experience preferred * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Interpersonal and collaboration skills * Proficient in MS Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Able to work independently in the supervisor's absence. * Able to multi-task projects of various size and scope with a high degree of attention to detail.
