The Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist with passion and expertise in neurologic ambulatory physical therapy practice
Massachusetts General Hospital Outpatient Physical Therapy currently has an opening for a full-time Staff Physical Therapist who will provide patient care to a neurologic/neuro-vestibular population in both Boston and Revere HealthCare Center. MGH physical therapists provide care to a predominantly adult populations with a wide range of musculoskeletal dysfunctions as well as those with neurologic, vestibular, oncology and pulmonary dysfunction. If you are a therapist with a strong foundation in neurologic outpatient physical therapy and a passion for patient care this is an excellent opportunity for you!
Physical therapists interested in this position should possess solid clinical examination and treatment skills for patients with neurologic diagnoses that include but are not limited to stroke, vestibular disorders, balance and falls, and movement disorders. They must possess excellent communication and problem solving skills and be interested in actively participating in our community outreach and clinical education programs, including our Neurologic Residency program. The Outpatient Service promotes ongoing clinical and professional development through guided clinical practice with our Clinical Specialists, Advanced Clinicians and Clinical Scholars, inservices/case conferences and active involvement in professional association activities.
Requirements: MA license; Minimum of 3 years of recent outpatient neurologic physical therapy experience. ABPTS Board Certification is highly desirable.
