Job Description

Responsible for promoting and increasing the revenue for both the internal & external group guest by negotiating, selling and promoting group activities including but not limited to ski, golf, canopy, team building, recreation and adventure group activities. Sales Manager will also be responsible for promoting regional lodging/retail/corporate partnerships for ski/golf/canopy and recreation revenue. Sales Manager will also be responsible for overseeing the JR. PASS Ski Program and managing revenue expectations and leveraging partnerships. Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting and greeting group contacts and attending all relevant client meetings. Sales Manager will provide all necessary information including pricing, contracts and correspondence to the CS Department, Events & Activities Department as well as ski area event coordinators for all internal/external group contracted activities for servicing by their departments. Sales Manager will work closely with Conference Services/BW Activities/ MW Activities Department to provide all necessary information for the servicing of sold events. Sales Manager will be responsible for selling year round group activities as well as promoting overall resort activities to the transient and group guest (internal & external) via regional partnerships including ski shop program, regional lodging partners, corporate voucher clients.

Qualifications

Must have exceptional communication skills.Knowledge of RTP preferred.Must have excellent computer skills and customer service skills.Must be punctual and reliable.Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions.Must be able to stand for long periods of time.Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
