About the Job

We're looking for a full-time Community + Program Development Manager to support and grow our community of young women + nonbinary students. You'll develop partnerships with stakeholders in education and NGOs, build + execute IRL programs and events and support our Ambassador network of college students nationwide. We're looking for someone who is talented at building relationships as well as navigating different kinds of communities to acquire, engage, and retain students in creative ways. You understand the importance of breaking women and non-binary people into the tech world and are able to communicate that in a way that young adults can relate to.

Moreover, you'll support the growth of our WAVE platform, a 1:1 matching program that connects GenZ students with professionals who have a variety of roles in tech. You'll also get to work with some of the smartest students and professionals in tech and be a part of shaping the future of our brand. You should be highly organized, detail-oriented, a proactive operator, decisive, an excellent communicator, obsessed with all things BUILT BY GIRLS, and ready to jump into the waters of a startup environment. This is a full time paid position in Verizon Media's New York City office.
