The Manager, Game Statistics Operations will lead the statistical operations of all live NFL games as well as the post-game processing of all NFL and NCAA games. The Manager will coordinate the working schedule of all game day personnel and manage and track all issues through to resolution. The Manager will also coordinate the working schedule of all seasonal QA staff.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Game Statistics Solutions, this position?s primary responsibility is ensuring the operational effectiveness of all game statistics services including all post-game corrections with Elias Sports Bureau.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Responsible for resource planning of game day staff coverage.
* Responsible for selection, training, activities and responsibilities of seasonal QA staff.
* Train all game day staff on proper game day operation, issue tracking and escalation.
* Manage service level agreements of statistical feeds to business partners and clubs.
* Skill development of the game day team through training
* Participate in strategic planning, coordination of a roadmap, development, construction, and implementation plan to address service delivery changes.
* Manage all game day technical statistics resources at the venues.
* Ensure all incidents are communicated, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner to meet our SLAs.
* Must work every NFL game day including holidays (e.g. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year?s)
* Responsible for overseeing the game day activities of all statistical operations at the venues as well as League offices.
* Establish processes and metrics that measure and improve team performance
* Conduct regular status meetings with the development teams and departmental teams.
* Manage all day-to-day personnel issues & hiring of game day staff while fostering an environment of dedication to the success of the department and League.
* Manage Game Statistics budget for Game Day and Seasonal QA staff, as well as hardware/software purchases
* Learn the NFL rulebook and Guide for Statisticians
* Manage post-game statistical corrections with Elias Sports Bureau
* Manage the seasonal QA staff
* Manage the operation of the NCAA statistical processes
* Train and manage game day staff in the proper procedures and operation of Legalized Sports Betting auditing
* Train game day staff in the proper procedures and operation of video editing for the IVR tagging process
* Train and manage Seasonal QA staff to identify and properly report Health and Safety head impact incidents in the H&S tracking system
* Train Seasonal QA staff to operate as a NY-based stat crew in the event of an issue entering into GSIS during a game
* Other duties as assigned.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems or a related field with a strong technical background.
* 3-5 years' experience in leading operational support teams.
* Strong computer skills including Windows, MS Office.
* Strong knowledge of football
* Be able to communicate technical issues in business terms so that senior leadership can evaluate options and make sound decisions.
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
