Oversee the Reconciliation and Analysis process for the Global Study Abroad Programs. Lead the Global Accounting and Reporting team in continued implementation of initiatives for accounting, reconciling, and reporting of global study abroad financial results. Participate in the development of University accounting policies and procedures. Manage administrative and resource planning for administrative employees which entail career, professional, training and development, performance management, organization of workload. Responsible for the management of site external audits abroad.
Required Education:Bachelor's Degree AccountingPreferred Education:Master's Degree Accounting or Business AdministrationRequired Experience:5+ years related accounting experience including experience with operational analysis, development of policies and procedures, and staff supervision or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Experience:Certified Public Accountant license. Experience with accounting practices within a higher education environment, non-profit industry and/or global organization.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail. Interpersonal skills needed to lead others and work effectively within teams.
