Position SummaryThe selected candidate will cultivate and solicit primarily major gifts ($100,000+) from alumni and friends of NYU School of Law to support priority programs and initiatives. S/he will liaise with the Dean and administrative leaders to strategically align school and program needs with interests and resources of donors. S/he will also identify and prioritize a portfolio of prospects and develop appropriate strategies to secure gifts; and collaborate with alumni and annual giving teams to develop programs that engage and motivate major gift donors.QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience:6 years' relevant experience. Must include experience in fundraising, cultivation and stewardship of donors, and staff supervision.Preferred Experience:Fundraising experience at a college or university.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent writing, public speaking, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to conduct professional presentations via phone and in person.
