Position Summary

NYU s Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director of Experiential Learning in our Office of Student Engagement. The selected will collaborate with the Director to strategically direct operations and innovate for all MBA experiential programs and a variety of other student related offerings. S/he will partner with the Executive Director and Director to implement a series of programs relating to the School s goal of transforming the MBA mindset towards one that is focused on broad issues and transformational leadership. The selected candidate will oversee internal and external marketing communications, including the website and social media outreach and strategy, determining themes, messages, and publications that meet communications goals. The Assistant Director will work with students, external partners, faculty and administrators to execute and develop content and structure of learning programs to ensure flawless delivery and execution. S/he will also collect and analyze data for all experiential learning programs to drive continuous improvements to program offerings.


The selected candidate will have a Bachelor s degree and 3 years of relevant professional level experience or the equivalent combination. S/he must have experience in an educational service business that requires managing multiple tasks and projects, working with external parties and satisfying multiple high level constituencies. Excellent planning, networking and relationship management skills are essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. The selected candidate must have the ability to work effectively with faculty, students, administrators and corporate community leaders. Candidates with a Master s degree are preferred.
