In conjunction with the Director, Patient Services Administration is responsible for the investigation of sensitive patient issues and for taking corrective action as necessary to resolve. Manage medical and legal issues that rise to the level of a complaint or claim. Implement and monitor adherence to departmental policies and procedures. Assist in developing hospital-wide policies and procedures where appropriate. Communicate with patients in a compassionate and poised manner. Take on the responsibility of supervising our Patient Services Coordinators, providing guidance to your team and overseeing day-to-day operations.
* Supervisory experience and professional demeanor * NY state Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner
* Masters degree in business or healthcare related discipline * Minimum 5 years of experience
